Admission Rules

Children with a transfer certificate from any other Army School or Army Public School are not denied admission. Fresh admissions are made at the beginning of each academic session. Admission is strictly on merit, the procedure is as follows :-

Registration :- Parents must deposit the Registration form, available with the prospectus, duly filled, in the School office to obtain date for Entrance Test.

Eligibility :- The student should have attained the below mentioned age for admission to the respective classes as on 1st April of the year in which admission is sought.

Priority of Admission

Priority of admission subject to availability of seat will be as under :-

  1. Children of serving Army personnel including DSC (Ex-Army), children of Army widows and children of those TA personnel who have a minimum of 5 year embodies service .
  2. Children of Army personnel retired/invalided out on medical grounds with pension, DSC personnel retired with pension from DSC.
  3. Children of serving Air Force, Naval and Coast Guards personnel.
  4. Children of retired Air Force, Naval and Coast Guards personnel.
  5. Children of Ex-Army personnel who left Army with less then 10 years of service and not categorized as ESM.
  6. Children of civilians paid out of Defence Estimates, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), MES, GREF, TA (when not embodied).
  7. Grand children of serving/retired Army Personnel.
  8. Other children.


Documents Required

Students will have to submit following documents at the time of admission.

  1. Class I – Birth Certificate & Part II order (only for army personnel)
  2. Class II to XII.
  1. Original Transfer Certificate issued by the School.
  2. Xerox Copy of CBSE Class IX / X / XI / XII Registration Card/details.
  3. Xerox copy of CBSC Class IX / X / XI / XII Report Card.
  4. Document in respect of Mother’s Name, if not mentioned in Transfer Certificate.
  5. Caste Certificate of parent and candidate.
